Welcome to Penguins

The adults in the nursery are Mrs Norris, Mrs Astbury and Mrs Leese - Miss Jeffery is currently on maternity leave and will return at Easter.  

This is our nursery class. Some children come full time and some children come part time. Our children have a Key Person, who is responsible for their care and learning while in the Penguins.

Nursery Opening Times:

The nursery operates two sessions each day: from 9.00am until 12 midday, and 12.30pm until 3.30pm.  The children may stay for lunch between midday and 12.30pm which is offered at £4.29, including a school lunch or £2.04 excluding lunch.  

NEF funded places are available and there is an opportunity to book extra sessions.  These will be charged separately at £12.24 per extra session and need to be booked through Mrs Pyatt in the school office.

We also offer wraparound care from 7.30am through to 9.00am and from 3.30pm until 5.30pm.  There is a separate booking form for this.

The children attending nursery wear a red sweatshirt and white or red polo shirt with comfortable play wear such as trousers or leggings.

All our children learn through play in our lovely Penguins classroom and they have lots of opportunities to play inside and outside.
