Supporting Every Child to Thrive

We are committed to ensuring that every child feels valued, included and supported to achieve their full potential. We recognise that children have individual strengths, needs and ways of learning, and we strive to provide the right support at the right time for every child.  Our approach begins with high-quality, inclusive teaching, carefully adapted to meet the diverse needs of our pupils. Where children require additional support, we provide targeted interventions and specialist provision to help them engage, communicate, develop independence and flourish within our school community.

Our SEND provision includes an alternative learning environment where some children can access a personalised sensory curriculum and carefully tailored support. This provision enables us to respond sensitively to individual needs, recognising that what helps one child to learn, communicate and regulate may be very different from what supports another.  Through a combination of quality-first teaching, personalised support, specialist expertise and close partnership with families and professionals, we aim to remove barriers to learning and ensure that every child has the opportunity to feel safe, belong and thrive.

The teacher in the Butterflies class is Mrs Gribbon, and the teaching assistants are Miss Low, Mrs Campion, Mrs Gear and Miss Jankovskis.
